What you'll do

• Obtain and document patient data
• communicate patient information during shifts and handoffs
• document the nursing process in the EMR
• monitor telemetry patients and interpret cardiac rhythms
• prioritize care by acuity
• administer medications
• implement and update plans of care
• educate patients and families
• use SBAR with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• maintain safety and infection-control practices
• perform glucose monitoring and glucometer quality checks
• use Alaris IV pumps
• assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers
• and float to other units as staffing requires.

Why this role
