The Head Teller role is onsite in Clinton, NY, with weekday hours between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. and Saturday hours from 8:30 a.m. to noon. Pay is $20–$25 per hour. The role supervises the teller area at Access Federal Credit Union and guides tellers in serving members. The head teller performs teller functions while overseeing daily operations, cash management, security, and balancing. The role helps resolve complex transactions and member concerns, supports compliance with credit union procedures, and trains and mentors tellers.

What you'll do

• Supervise teller operations and assign work
• answer questions and resolve complex transactions and member concerns
• mentor tellers and ensure policy compliance
• maintain and balance the vault
• oversee teller-line security and equipment
• manage cash supply within policy limits
• balance and replenish ATM cash
• process checks, deposits, payments, withdrawals, and transfers
• perform teller audits and file currency transaction reports
• answer member questions and refer complex issues
• prepare schedules and train new tellers.
