Senior Revenue Accountant

Job overview

The Senior Revenue Accountant role is hybrid after 90 days and based in Yonkers, NY, with an annual salary of $85,000–$95,000. The position is in Westhab’s Finance Department and reports to the Grants Manager. Westhab provides housing and supportive services to vulnerable community members. The role prepares financial reporting, budgets, and reimbursement documentation for government contracts. By monitoring grant spending, processing monthly close work, and coordinating with program directors and funders, it supports accurate and timely financial management of contract-funded programs.

What you'll do

• Prepare monthly grant reimbursement vouchers and related journal entries and accruals. Monitor grant budget spending and prepare budget modification requests
• meet with Program Directors about spending and modifications. Ensure vouchers are issued and reimbursements received on time, following up with funders as needed. Process monthly general ledger close, prepare adjusting entries, and update work papers for fixed assets and depreciation, insurance expense, and other accrued expenses. Prepare annual operating budgets.
