The Early Head Start Teacher I–III role is onsite in New Braunfels, TX, with pay of $16.02–$23.54 per hour. What you'll do

• Maintain a calm, safe classroom and playground
• develop lesson plans
• support children’s self-help skills and development
• maintain classroom and child records
• complete Individual Education Plans and ongoing assessments
• conduct required home visits and parent conferences
• support family-style meals
• encourage family involvement
• follow Head Start and childcare standards
• report suspected child abuse.

Why this role

Requires a CDA or comparable credential, infant/toddler development training or coursework, two years of experience with children from birth to five, Spanish-English bilingual ability, and CPR and First Aid certifications. Monday–Friday availability between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. is required.
