What you'll do

• Evaluate medication orders for drug, dosage, interactions, and administration
• ensure dispensed medicines are correctly supplied and labeled
• communicate with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare team members
• supervise medicine preparation
• recommend therapy changes when appropriate
• resolve medication-related queries
• maintain customer databases with relevant clinical information.
