The Home Visitor role is an onsite, regular full-time position in Vincennes, IN. The salary range is $15.76–$17.95 per hour. The position supports families participating in Head Start and Early Head Start, consistent with PACE’s mission to improve the community and encourage self-reliance. The role provides in-home education and support, helping parents support infant, toddler, and preschool development. Through weekly visits, developmental activities, assessments, and family goal support, the Home Visitor contributes to children’s development and program services.

What you'll do

• Conduct weekly home visits and group socialization activities
• plan individualized child-development experiences using the appropriate curriculum
• model positive parenting skills
• help parents develop and pursue goals
• observe and record strengths, concerns, and parent-child interactions
• maintain accurate child and family information in the program database
• screen and assess children’s development
• coordinate with management to meet children’s needs under Head Start Performance Standards
• support enrollment, parent and community volunteerism, and communication with families and staff
• travel to other sites within the service area
• submit accurate reports and attend assigned training and meetings.
