School Security Officer

What you'll do

• Patrol assigned areas by foot, bicycle, or motor vehicle
• question and assess unauthorized persons
• inspect and secure buildings, doors, windows, gates, and grounds
• verify visitors and vehicles and enforce campus rules
• assist with evacuation, lockdown, lockout, and shelter-in-place protocols
• respond to emergency calls and contact emergency responders as required
• maintain a charged two-way radio
• report hazards and incidents accurately.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, one year of security enforcement or comparable experience (military service accepted), a valid Arizona driver license, and First Aid and CPR certification. First Responder Training and self-defense, baton, chemical weapons, and handcuffing training must be completed within 90 days of hire.
