What you'll do

• Identify and select qualified vendors
• review technical data, designs, prints, and manufacturing and quality requirements
• develop purchasing specifications with internal teams
• evaluate manufacturability and value of engineered components
• source welded fabrications and machined parts
• manage RFQs through completion
• purchase assigned commodities to meet quality and cost targets
• build supplier relationships that support quality improvement and cost savings.
