Field Services Technician — Welding & Mechanical

The Field Services Technician — Welding & Mechanical role is onsite in Fort Worth, TX, with 50% travel expected in and out of state. Pay is $20–$26 per hour. The technician works in Thermal Specialties’ Construction Services division, supporting industrial furnace, refractory, and insulation solutions. The technician performs welding, mechanical troubleshooting, installation, and inspection work to support customer projects and equipment. The role contributes to safe, quality field service and helps maintain and improve furnace and fabrication knowledge.

What you'll do

• Read fabrication and installation drawings
• use industry tools and precision measuring equipment
• weld parts in flat, vertical, or overhead positions
• conduct weld quality tests
• support mechanical assembly and combustion equipment installation
• identify and report safety hazards
• perform work to management’s time expectations
• improve furnace maintenance and fabrication knowledge.
