Nutrition Sales Consultant

The Nutrition Sales Consultant role is onsite in Walnut Creek, CA, and pays $18–$24 per hour. JustFoodForDogs’ mission is to help dogs live longer, healthier lives through fresh, whole food and proven nutrition. The consultant engages customers and their dogs, shares product and pet nutrition information, and recommends meals and related products based on customer needs. The role also builds ongoing customer relationships and supports store sales and operating standards.

What you'll do

• Engage with customers and their dogs in-store and make personalized recommendations for meals, treats, supplements and other products
• learn and apply pet nutrition and product knowledge
• establish customer relationships and provide follow-up and ongoing support
• follow merchandising, housekeeping, inventory and point-of-sale policies
• follow safety and security procedures
• meet personal sales quotas and share insights with the General Manager to help the Kitchen meet its target.
