Manufacturing Technician — Fiber Optics

The Manufacturing Technician role is onsite in Naperville, IL, with a Monday–Friday schedule. Compensation is $60,000–$70,000 base, plus annual bonus. viaPhoton builds custom-engineered fiber optic solutions for AI infrastructure, data centers, and 5G networks. The role helps optimize fiber optic manufacturing processes by connecting hands-on equipment and production work with experiments, data analysis, and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

• Support daily production setup and schedules
• build prototypes and recommend equipment for new products
• run tests and experiments with the process team
• analyze data to identify process improvements
• set up, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment
• prepare reports and present findings
• and provide technical support and training to production associates.
