The manager leads media relations and external communications to strengthen company visibility and reputation, support business and project milestones, and communicate complex energy and infrastructure topics clearly. The role also guides executive communications, advertising, internal communications, and a Communications Associate, and may travel up to 25% of the time.

What you'll do

• Develop and refine public- and media-relations strategy
• secure earned and paid media opportunities
• build media relationships
• draft and manage press materials
• advise on sensitive and high-visibility issues
• monitor coverage and public sentiment
• prepare executives and subject-matter experts for public appearances
• develop thought-leadership content
• maintain consistent messaging and communications processes
• oversee agency and vendor work and advertising campaigns
• guide internal communications
• coach the Communications Associate.
