The Machinist II works onsite in Durango, CO. Pay is $27.88–$37.50 per hour. Agile Space Industries designs, builds, and tests in-space propulsion systems used in space missions and other applications. The machinist supports production of rocket engines and propulsion hardware by operating machine tools, inspecting components, and maintaining equipment. The role contributes to quality and delivery of hardware for propulsion and research and development applications.

What you'll do

• Operate lathes, mills, and surface grinders
• inspect parts using metrology equipment
• provide drawing feedback to improve machinability
• maintain equipment and assemble hardware as needed
• troubleshoot production issues
• follow safety and quality procedures
• lead, train, or mentor others on machine tools and processes.
