The Bilingual Patient Support Specialist role is onsite in Houston, TX, at HOPE Clinic - Beltway. Compensation is $14.50–$15.00 per hour. The role helps patients move through clinic services by coordinating arrival, registration, eligibility, records, and scheduling support. It also helps maintain accurate, confidential patient information and supports enrollment assistance and community engagement activities as needed.

What you'll do

• Greet and assist patients with registration and eligibility
• check patients in and out using electronic medical records
• scan, log, submit, fax, and mail records and forms according to HIPAA and clinic guidelines
• protect patient and agency information
• assist with calls, telephone notes, scheduling, and inquiries
• verify insurance eligibility
• perform eligibility support duties as needed, including Medicaid, ACA, and other program enrollment or re-enrollment and maintaining sliding-scale information
• attend community engagement activities and clinic events as needed.

Why this role
