Litigation Attorney — Civil and Healthcare Matters (Hybrid)

The Litigation Attorney role is hybrid, with a choice of office in Seattle, WA, or Tacoma, WA, and remote work for two to three days per week. Pay is $130,000–$180,000 per year. The role joins a collaborative civil litigation legal team handling complex matters, including healthcare-related cases. The attorney manages a diverse caseload, prepares legal filings and discovery, conducts research and depositions, and develops litigation strategies. The role represents clients in negotiations, hearings, mediations, and court proceedings while building client relationships and contributing to case outcomes.

What you'll do

• Manage and contribute to civil litigation, professional liability, and healthcare-related matters
• draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents
• conduct legal research
• take and defend depositions
• develop litigation strategies
• represent clients in negotiations, hearings, mediations, and court proceedings
• collaborate with legal colleagues and maintain client relationships.

Why this role

Active Washington State Bar membership and 3+ years of litigation experience in insurance defense, health law, or civil litigation required. Medical malpractice defense, healthcare liability, and professional liability experience preferred, not required.
