The engineer maintains and improves production equipment and processes to reduce downtime, support safe operations, and improve productivity and manufacturing costs. The role works with production and maintenance teams to keep equipment operating and support production needs.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot production-line machinery and equipment
• perform preventive maintenance
• conduct equipment changeovers
• follow safety protocols including LOTO and PPE
• work with electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• fabricate or modify equipment to meet functional and sanitary requirements
• install or repair systems
• move equipment using forklifts and powered pallet jacks.
