CNC Programmer – First Shift

The CNC Programmer – First Shift role is onsite in Salisbury, NC. Compensation is $60,000–$90,000 per year. Pyrotek is a global industrial company and a leader in high-temperature materials and engineered systems. The programmer develops and proves out CNC programs, sets up machines, and supports production and product development. The role contributes to precision machining, quality, safe operations, and continuous improvement across manufacturing and engineering teams.

What you'll do

• Develop, modify, and prove out CNC programs for mills, routers, waterjets, and textile cutters
• interpret engineering drawings, specifications, machining parameters, and GD&T
• set up machines, tooling, and offsets and verify first runs
• use Mastercam, AutoCAD, and 3D modeling tools
• troubleshoot machining issues
• develop fixtures and tooling
• maintain work instructions and tooling inventory
• train production employees
• collaborate with engineering and production teams.
