Sneaker & Streetwear Design Instructor — Camp Kaleidoscope

The Sneaker & Streetwear Design Instructor works onsite in Newton, MA, on a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Compensation is $20 per hour. The role supports Camp Kaleidoscope, JCC Greater Boston’s summer day camp for children entering grades 4–8. The instructor plans and leads daily fashion-design classes, helping campers explore creative projects and build skills in an inclusive setting. The role contributes to a positive camp experience by adapting activities to campers’ needs and working with counselors and camp leadership.

What you'll do

• Plan, prepare, and lead age-appropriate sneaker and streetwear design activities
• teach 4 or 5 classes each day
• ensure camper safety
• create an inclusive environment for skill-building
• maintain and organize supplies and equipment
• adapt activities for diverse needs
• support camp events and operations
• attend assigned meetings and training.
