What you'll do

• Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, and C corporations
• prepare extensions and quarterly estimated tax calculations
• assist with year-round tax planning
• respond to IRS and state notices
• obtain and analyze IRS transcripts
• represent clients before the IRS as permitted under the EA credential
• assist with examinations, collections, and payment arrangements
• research tax questions
• communicate with clients
• review financial information and supporting documents
• assist with bookkeeping and accounting matters
• maintain records and meet filing deadlines.
