Compensation is $102,000–$147,000 per year. The FMS Radar Engineer role is an onsite position based in Dahlgren, VA. S. Navy's SPY-6 radar engineering capabilities. This role exists to provide technical expertise in systems engineering, radar performance, signal processing, and integration throughout the system lifecycle. The engineer will contribute to the team by developing and executing systems engineering plans, maintaining requirements, and participating in testing activities to ensure the successful integration of radar systems.

What you'll do

• Engineering support to determine radar concepts and evaluate feasibility of integrating SPY-6 on foreign ships.
• Develop and execute systems engineering plans.
• Create and maintain system requirements, specifications, and interface documentation.
• Support system architecture, requirements decomposition, and hardware/software allocation.
• Perform modeling, simulation, and system performance analysis.
• Participate in system integration, verification, and testing activities.
• Develop test plans and analyze system performance using MATLAB and laboratory tools.
