The Shift Leader role is onsite in Humble, TX, with compensation of $10–$14 per hour. The role supports Firehouse Subs restaurant operations and its guest-service mission. The Shift Leader is accountable for the profitable operation of an assigned shift while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. The role leads the restaurant team in delivering guest service, food quality, and cleanliness, and assists the General Manager with operations, staffing, and company initiatives.

What you'll do

• Oversee the profitable operation of an assigned shift
• ensure compliance with applicable regulations and Firehouse Subs policies
• manage food, labor, controllable costs, utilities, and sales growth
• lead the team in guest service, quality, and cleanliness
• assist the General Manager with operations plans and initiatives
• participate in interviewing, hiring, training, and disciplining employees under the General Manager's guidance
• complete required reports and legal documents
• participate in Public Safety Foundation initiatives
• communicate business issues to the General Manager or owner.
