The Clinical Medical Assistant provides clinical expertise to ensure patients receive high quality, efficient care, scheduling appointments, checking patients in/out, and assisting physicians.

What you'll do

• Full time (Monday - Friday, days), no nights, no on call, no weekends, no holidays.
• This position will be on site at our Denver Virtual Center.
• You will monitor patients remotely with us across our seven hospitals.
• Must live in the Denver market.
• This is an on-site job.
• The Virtual Telemetry Technician (TT) participates in high-quality, patient-centered care by continuously observing and monitoring cardiac rhythms and other vital signs from a centralized monitoring location, assuring a safe patient care environment.
• Essential Job Functions: Notify the primary RN or charge RN when patient parameters and waveforms are outside of established parameters in accordance with division policy.
• Interpret cardiac rhythms, heart rate, and arrhythmias and communicate abnormalities to nurses and physicians.
• Create clear, accurate documentation on patient status and activity during the shift.
• Demonstrate and respect patient rights to privacy and protection of patient confidentiality.
• One year of Medical Assisting or other direct clinical patient care experience in a healthcare setting.
• Medical Assistant Certification - required.
• Acceptable certifications are RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, or NCRMA certification/ABR-OE credentials is acceptable OR Medical Assistants who recently graduated (within the last 12 months) from a Medical Assisting training program must obtain Medical Assistant certification within 60 days of employment.
• OR Candidates/incumbents with one year of Medical Assistant work experience who do not possess Medical Assistant Certification must obtain Medical Assistant Certification within one year of hire date.
