Prep and Catering Cook

The Prep and Catering Cook role is onsite in Jordan, NY, with pay of $17–$25 per hour. The cook prepares food and supports event execution through advance ingredient preparation, consistent recipe and presentation standards, kitchen sanitation, inventory monitoring, and coordination with the catering team. The work helps deliver timely, high-quality food service at catering events.

What you'll do

• Prepare food for catering events
• chop, portion, marinate, and prep ingredients
• follow recipes and plating standards
• maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen
• assist with loading, transporting, and setting up food for off-site events
• monitor inventory and rotate stock
• communicate supply needs and coordinate with the catering team.
