The Vice President, Structural Engineering role is an onsite position in Columbus, Ohio. Compensation is $201,000–$259,000 per year. The role leads ANS’s growing Structural engineering team across utility-scale solar, battery energy storage, high-voltage, and wind projects. The vice president oversees department operations, technical quality, financial planning, and strategic growth. By developing the team and scalable processes, managing budgets and resources, and guiding engineering work, the role supports delivery and expansion of multidisciplinary renewable-energy projects.

What you'll do

• Oversee Structural engineering department operations and growth
• develop hiring plans and drive revenue growth
• prepare the department’s annual operating plan and long-range plans
• oversee organizational financials, proposals, project and departmental budgets, and resources
• guide structural design and construction administration
• review and supervise calculations
• coordinate with vendors and manufacturers
• recommend technology and workflow improvements.
