The Field Service Technician, Solar Maintenance role is onsite in Minneapolis, MN, with pay of $25.00–$35.00 per hour based on experience. The work is performed outdoors at solar photovoltaic facilities and includes travel to job sites. What you'll do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, service, troubleshooting, and repairs at solar photovoltaic facilities
• conduct AC and DC testing, including polarity, open-circuit voltage, grounding continuity, communications, insulation resistance, and I-V curve tracing
• interpret schematics
• maintain equipment including trackers, inverters, transformers, disconnects, and substation equipment
• maintain vehicles, tools, meters, plant stock, service reports, inspection records, safety paperwork, and spare-parts inventory
• provide maintenance and troubleshooting training to others as needed
• identify and address safety hazards. The posting requires travel and on-call work during off-shift hours and weekends.
