The Dental Surgical Assistant role is onsite in Princeton, WV; compensation is not specified. The position supports Mountain State Oral & Facial Surgery’s oral and maxillofacial surgeons in providing surgical care and patient-centered service. The role exists to support safe, efficient procedures and clinic workflow. The assistant helps with examinations and procedures, patient records and monitoring, room preparation and sanitation, and post-operative observation while following confidentiality and infection-control requirements.

What you'll do

• Maintain patient records
• assist physicians during examinations and procedures
• perform X-rays as needed
• review medical histories and consent forms
• prepare prescriptions
• monitor and record vital signs
• document anesthesia and patient charts
• maintain airways during sedation and suction when necessary
• monitor patients post-operatively
• prepare and sanitize rooms
• support clinic operations and patient flow.
