Training Specialist

The Training Specialist role is onsite in Silver Spring, MD, with compensation of $60,000–$65,000 plus benefits. SEEC provides community supports for people with developmental disabilities, and this position is part of its Knowledge Management Department. The specialist coordinates and delivers staff and participant training, tracks mandated learning, and helps evaluate training quality and outcomes. What you'll do

• Obtain and maintain required trainer certifications
• coordinate and deliver professional trainings, including MANDT, CPR/First Aid, iCareManager, New Hire Orientation, and Direct Support Professional I and II
• provide learning initiatives for people supported
• help assess training effectiveness using evaluation tools and analysis
• support the Trainers’ Community of Practice
• monitor mandated training and related communications
• coordinate Medication Technician Training Program sessions with the Nursing Team.
