The Truck Driver — CDL Class A role is onsite in Garner, NC, with compensation of $20–$23 per hour. TT&E Iron & Metal is a family-owned company with 50 years of success. This is a local driving position with daily home time. The driver transports materials between customer yards using a range of trucks and trailers, while completing inspections and following transportation and company safety requirements. The role supports regional deliveries on a Monday–Friday schedule, with one Saturday per month.

What you'll do

• Operate roll-off, lugger, flatbed, dry box, live-load open-top, and tractor-trailer trucks
• transport materials to and from customers’ yards
• perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues
• comply with DOT, FMCSA, and company safety standards
• drop and hook trailers and containers
• some flatbed work may be required.

Why this role

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM, plus one Saturday per month, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM. The posting requires a valid CDL Class A license and at least five years of CDL driving experience; TWIC card is preferred.
