The Travel Registered Nurse — Emergency Department role is onsite at Northwest Regional Medical Center’s 24/7 FSED in Corpus Christi, TX. Compensation is $1,678 per hour as stated in the posting. What you'll do

• Provide emergency nursing care, including assessments and reassessments, wound care, splinting, IV starts, and medication administration
• rapidly identify sepsis, STEMI, stroke, and trauma
• document care and oversee EMT-P staff. Airway management and ventilator experience are preferred.

Why this role

Day shift is 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.; the unit describes a 1:4 patient ratio depending on acuity. Required certifications include BLS, ALS, TNCC, CPI or equivalent, and PALS or ENPC. Every other weekend is required; no on-call.
