Temporary Inbound Handler

The Temporary Inbound Handler role is onsite in Saint Rose, LA. Pay is $14 per hour. The position supports inbound warehouse operations by unloading trailers and moving incoming inventory through sorting and palletizing processes. The handler helps keep inbound freight moving safely and accurately. The work includes trailer safety checks, unloading cartons or hanging garments, scanning and labeling cases, building pallets, and clearing jams or recirculation lines. The temporary assignment may be shortened or extended based on project demand.

What you'll do

• Verify trailer initiation, unlock the safety latch, operate the dock plate, and position the flex conveyor
• follow CTPAT security trailer inspections
• unload cases or hanging garments
• scan cases onto pallets using RF scanners, apply labels, and move pallets to the conveyor
• clear box jams and recirculation lines
• move pallets and sort assignments as needed.
