The Line Operator 2, Rewinder, Day Shift role is onsite in Taylorsville, NC. Compensation is $20 per hour. The operator performs production and packaging tasks, checks finished rolls against quality standards, and helps keep the line operating safely and efficiently. The role may include training on other lines and assisting with quality testing or training new operators as assigned.

What you'll do

• Perform production duties including loading cores, pulling trim, adjusting roll widths, and preparing, labeling, and packaging finished rolls
• inspect roll quality and remove nonconforming rolls
• use roll-weight systems and complete required records
• prepare products for shipping and move skids with pallet jacks
• may train on other lines and perform quality testing
• assist with shift changes and notify management of issues
• assist with training new operators
• maintain housekeeping and prepare the work area for shift change.
