Medical Assistant

Job overview

The Medical Assistant role is onsite in Denver, Colorado, supporting outpatient clinics in Denver and Lakewood. Pay is $22–$27 per hour. Comprehensive Behavioral Health Center provides outpatient treatment for opioid use and other addictive disorders. This position combines clinical and administrative support to help the care team serve adult substance-use clients. The work includes patient check-in, appointment coordination, vitals, injections, blood draws, insurance authorizations, records, and patient support.

What you'll do

• Schedule and confirm appointments
• submit and track prior authorizations
• take and record vitals
• perform injections, venipuncture, and capillary blood collection
• prepare and label specimens
• communicate with patients, insurers, providers, and staff
• maintain records and clinic data
• collect payments
• support clinic opening, closing, and cleanliness
• guide patients through treatment paperwork and connect them with recovery resources.
