CNC Operator

Job overview

The CNC Operator role is onsite in Temple, TX. Compensation is $18–$20 per hour. The operator reports to the Table Top Supervisor at MooreCo Inc., a manufacturer of visual communication products, technology support equipment, and office furniture. The role supports production by setting up and operating machines, monitoring operations, and checking finished work for defects and conformance to specifications. Accurate reporting and safe work practices help maintain production quality and team operations.

What you'll do

• Examine completed workpieces for defects and measure them against specifications
• set machine stops and adjust components
• start machines, monitor operations, and record data
• operate or tend machines to cut, shear, punch, bend, or straighten material
• report outages and scrap
• clean the work area as needed
• wear required PPE and work safely.

Why this role

Requires at least one year of related experience and the ability to work overtime as required. A GED is required; a high school diploma is preferred, and additional experience may be considered in lieu of a diploma.
