What you'll do

• May function in monitoring, scrubbing, or circulating roles
• prepare and educate patients
• use sterile technique
• verify patient identity, orders, consent, and procedural time-out
• transport patients as needed
• maintain records and cath lab logs
• prepare supplies and equipment
• enter procedure and supply charges
• provide patient and family education and post-procedure home-care instructions as needed.
