The Land Surveyor role is onsite in Cleveland, OH. The stated annual compensation range is $85,000–$130,000. The position works across ISG’s Public Works, Water, Commercial, and other business units, within its Geospatial team. The role oversees survey data collection and boundary work and turns field information and records into accurate maps, plats, descriptions, and project documentation. It also coordinates findings with design colleagues and supports client communication and project proposals.

What you'll do

• Assist with proposals, project cost estimates, and client communication
• perform fieldwork, drafting, record research, data analysis, and preparation of land descriptions and plats
• oversee survey data collection and boundary surveys
• prepare charts, plots, maps, records, and related documents
• coordinate findings with survey, architecture, and engineering staff
• oversee survey equipment operation and maintenance
• prepare field drawings and project documentation.

Why this role

Requires a current Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license. Familiarity with Trimble, Leica, Topcon, and AutoCAD Civil 3D is listed; travel out of town for projects is expected.
