What you'll do

• Set up machining processes by selecting fixtures and tooling, aligning workholding, and securing materials
• operate manual and CNC equipment
• set machine parameters and adjust programs
• monitor operations and correct malfunctions or out-of-tolerance trends
• maintain tooling and clean machines and parts
• edit programs to improve cycle time, finish, and accuracy
• follow shop safety protocols.
