What you'll do

• Interview inmates on suicide watch, assess suicide risk, refer to the attending physician when appropriate, and triage other mental health requests. Provide therapeutic interventions
• conduct psychosocial evaluations and mental status exams
• develop and monitor individualized treatment plans
• document care
• respond to emergencies
• coordinate with medical and correctional personnel
• and incorporate discharge planning and referrals.
