The Case Manager is an onsite role based in Hudson, CO. The position offers a pay rate of $17.77 per hour, supporting The GEO Group's mission to provide evidence-based rehabilitation services. This role exists to provide counseling services and assist inmates or detainees in adjusting to facility life. The Case Manager develops and implements programs to meet individual needs, monitors assignments, and ensures cases are reviewed in a timely manner.

What you'll do

• Interview newly admitted inmates or detainees.
• Conduct facility orientation for newly assigned inmates or detainees explaining rules and regulations of the facility, available services and programs, and the disciplinary and classification process.
• Provide individual counseling to inmates or detainees on an informal basis regarding work and housing assignments, adjustment problems, and family problems.
• Resolve day-to-day problems with counseling.
• Refer inmates or detainees with serious problems to professional counseling staff.
• Provide assistance to the inmates or detainees in obtaining the services needed.
• Serve as a representative for the inmate/detainee at classification committee meetings.
• Monitor inmate/detainee custody, housing, job, and program assignments.
• Conduct visits to inmates or detainees assigned to caseload who are housed in special housing.
• Review inmate/detainee medical status to determine eligibility to work in volunteer job assignments.
