Medical Assistant - Pediatrics

The Medical Assistant role is onsite in Beverly, MA. Pay is $20–$23 per hour. The position supports the pediatric care team at Pediatric Associates of Greater Salem. The assistant helps physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and support staff deliver pediatric care by preparing patients, documenting information, performing listed clinical procedures, and coordinating follow-up. What you'll do

• Welcome patients and families
• room patients, collect histories, obtain vital signs and measurements, and prepare children for visits
• perform capillary blood testing, vision and hearing screenings, specimen collection, and fluoride varnish application
• review allergies and medications in the EMR
• document patient information
• maintain clean, stocked exam rooms
• coordinate referrals and follow up with families
• follow infection-control and safety standards.
