The Fuel Cell Mechanic role is onsite in Greenville, SC. Pay is $32–$38 per hour. Total Aviation Staffing is hiring for a client described as an aviation and aerospace maintenance organization supporting defense aircraft programs. The mechanic performs detailed fuel-cell and fuel-system maintenance on F-16 aircraft, supporting safety, quality, reliability, and aircraft readiness through inspections, repairs, testing, and work performed to technical requirements.

What you'll do

• Remove, install, and inspect F-16 wings and fuel cells
• assemble and install fuel-system components
• support leak testing and diagnose results
• identify deficiencies and recommend corrective actions
• follow technical data, specifications, and safety requirements
• handle hazardous materials according to regulations and procedures
• perform detailed repair work and overhead tasks
• maintain safety, cleanliness, quality, and workmanship
• coordinate with maintenance, inspection, and quality teams.
