Workforce and Family Services Job Coach

The Workforce and Family Services Job Coach role is an onsite position in Coeur d’Alene, ID, with localized travel using a company and/or personal vehicle. Pay is $18.00 per hour. Goodwill Industries of the Inland Northwest provides participant employment and job-readiness services through Workforce and Family Services. The job coach assesses, trains, and supports participants at work locations, helping them build skills and achieve vocational and non-vocational goals. The role contributes to participant independence by monitoring progress, providing hands-on instruction, and coordinating with staff and referral agencies.

What you'll do

• Support participant assessments and job readiness
• screen referrals
• maintain relationships with participants and referral agencies
• keep case notes and service reports accurate and timely
• provide hands-on training and direct supervision at work locations
• gather work-behavior and productivity data
• review intake and service plans
• analyze jobs and tasks
• monitor participant progress
• demonstrate tasks and work behaviors
• recommend accommodations and assistive technology
• collaborate with Workforce and Family Services.
