Job overview

The Amazon Web Services Architect role is onsite in Santa Clara, CA. Compensation is $75–$80 per hour. The role works with business stakeholders, application teams, infrastructure teams, security teams, and delivery partners to define cloud strategy and deliver AWS solutions. The architect designs secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud environments and guides migration and modernization initiatives. The role translates business and technical requirements into architecture, governance, and implementation guidance while supporting reliable operations and effective cloud delivery.

What you'll do

• Design and implement AWS architectures
• lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives
• define architecture across compute, storage, networking, databases, security, monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, and automation
• develop architecture patterns and landing zones
• establish governance, security, compliance, and cost practices
• collaborate on CI/CD and infrastructure as code
• assess applications and recommend migration strategies
• provide technical leadership and create architecture documentation.
