Access Control Officer

The Access Control Officer role is onsite in Fort Belvoir, VA, and pays $20–$25 per hour. Patriot Enterprises LLC seeks an officer to support Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) access control and escort support services. The officer verifies access credentials and authorizations, manages visitor entry, and monitors secure-facility access in accordance with approved procedures. Accurate logs, inspections, and prompt emergency notifications help protect government facilities and account for personnel, equipment, and media.

What you'll do

• Provide access control at government facilities
• control personnel, equipment, and media entering and leaving secure facilities
• verify badges, clearances, and SCI access levels
• issue escort-required and visitor badges
• conduct random entry/exit inspections
• use Central Monitoring Stations including Lenel
• maintain shift logs and visitor sign-in sheets
• inventory government-furnished equipment at shift changes
• promptly notify appropriate emergency responders of life-threatening situations.

Why this role
