The Maintenance Technician — Reprocessing Equipment role is onsite in Winchester, VA; compensation is not specified. Monoflo International’s reprocessing operation uses recycling equipment in the production of plastic material. The technician maintains and repairs extruders, shredders, and material-separation equipment to improve production utilization and throughput. The role diagnoses mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues and documents repairs in the maintenance system.

What you'll do

• Perform weekly equipment maintenance, including knife rotations and replacements and water-tank cleaning
• complete basic welding for shredder knife-base installation
• change extruder barrels and screws
• monitor alarms and diagnose faults
• read schematics, blueprints, and manuals
• repair mechanical parts and hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• document diagnoses, repairs, parts, and related data in the MRO system.

Why this role
