The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) — Day, 7 AM–3 PM role is onsite in Arverne, New York. Pay is $23.48 per hour. The CNA works in the Nursing Department at Ocean Gardens Care Center and reports to a nurse or the Director of Nursing. The CNA provides direct care according to residents’ care plans, assists with daily activities and personal hygiene, and supports resident safety and comfort. The role also documents care, reports changes in condition, and follows facility policies and applicable guidelines.

What you'll do

• Provide direct care according to resident care plans
• assist with walking, toileting, dressing, meals, personal hygiene, transfers, and positioning
• record intake and vital signs as instructed
• report changes in condition and safety incidents
• maintain resident privacy and confidentiality
• support admissions, transfers, and discharges as directed
• keep resident areas clean.
