Library Engagement Technician

The Library Engagement Technician role is onsite in Browning, MT, with compensation of $17.35 per hour. The position supports Blackfeet Community College’s Library and its mission and goals. The role keeps daily library services running by assisting patrons, maintaining circulation and catalog records, and supporting literacy instruction and library programs. It also helps students, staff, faculty, and community patrons access library resources and technology.

What you'll do

• Maintain the circulation desk
• check materials in and out
• assist patrons with online searches, computers, printing, and web resources
• support library literacy instruction and programming
• maintain confidential records, statistics, and catalog records
• reshelve materials
• create displays and promotional materials
• represent the library at campus and community events
• provide welcoming, culturally responsive customer service.

Why this role
