What you'll do

• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients
• administer medications, treatments, and procedures under protocols and orders
• provide critical interventions for trauma, cardiac, and other emergencies
• monitor patient conditions and respond to changes
• educate patients and families
• document care in the electronic medical record
• collaborate with physicians, paramedics, and other providers
• follow hospital policies, regulatory standards, patient-safety, infection-control, and emergency-response procedures.
