What you'll do

• Review, interpret, and verify medication orders
• dispense medications under established policies and regulatory standards
• monitor medication therapies for safety, effectiveness, and appropriate dosing
• provide drug information and clinical recommendations
• compound sterile and non-sterile medications as appropriate
• support antimicrobial stewardship and medication-management initiatives
• participate in assigned clinical interventions such as renal dosing, anticoagulation, and pharmacokinetic monitoring
• maintain medication and controlled-substance records
• participate in interdisciplinary rounds when appropriate
• support quality and safety initiatives.
