Estimator — Custom Millwork and Fabricated Metal

The Estimator is an onsite, full-time role at an LSI Industries Maine facility in Bangor, Maine. Compensation is $20–$25 per hour. The position supports quoting customized products across multiple materials and manufacturing facilities. The Estimator prepares accurate, timely, competitive cost estimates and partners with Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, and Operations to move quotes from concept through production handoff. The work also supports pricing decisions and improved estimating accuracy and margin performance.

What you'll do

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for custom millwork and fabricated metal products
• review drawings, specifications, and customer requirements
• estimate labor, materials, and outside services
• develop BOMs and routing assumptions with Engineering
• coordinate outsourced component pricing
• support Sales with pricing strategies and value-engineering options
• maintain estimating tools and historical cost data
• analyze data to improve accuracy and margins
• participate in project handoffs.
