What you'll do

• Provide hands-on patient care
• assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, procedures, and surgery
• obtain and monitor vital signs
• collect and process laboratory samples
• place IV catheters and administer medications
• prepare patients and assist with anesthesia monitoring
• take radiographs
• maintain medical records and treatment areas
• communicate care instructions to clients.
